Acrostic Limericks In Vogue?

Acrostic Limericks In Vogue?
By Madeleine Begun Kane

Very stylish young gals were out walking
On the streets of Manhattan, while talking.
Guys were tempted to cheer:
Undergarments were clear.
Even women who saw them were gawking.

UPDATE: I just realized I’ve written seven acrostic limericks in the last couple of months. Perhaps I can postpone senility, after all.

Great limericks – one after another – it’s impressive how you do it.

    This is so funny!

  3. Those gals must have been wearing those micro minis! Great poem. An acrostic limerick sounds pretty challenging.

  4. Versebender says:

don’t know how you do this….very impressive. Vb

  5. Mad, the day you start to approach senility is like the first sign of the Apocalypse! One of the most agile brains I know. You, RJ Clarken, and a handful of others crack me up consistently. And, like a sea shanty, you have me thinking in limericks now. Loved this one! Amy

Oh this is a goodie Madeleine, LOL good!

  7. Those limericks were hard facts. It actually made me laugh, people in Vogue should read this. I mean, clothes these days for ladies are getting smaller and smaller. It’s disturbing! xD

Thanks for visiting my site. Been under the weather, so it’s taking time to catch up. But, I always know when I come here, I will find smiles and laughter. Need that today.

    Laughing…this is so spot on!

I’m an old-fashioned kind of guy who believes less skin is much more attractive in a woman.
