There’s a hint of spring in the air!
Sixty-four basketball teams, all paired
For one final March Madness,
Then it’s back, with some sadness
To real life, no more games on the air

There’s a hint of spring in the air
I’m not a hoops addict, I swear!
Just win one more, oh please,
Then these creaky old knees,
I’ll crank up, and get moving, out there

Spring (mine)

There’s a hint of sweet spring in the air.
It snapped me from cold winter’s stare.
How glum was the dearth,
When the sun hit the earth,
T’was like a kick in the ol’ derriere!

‘Tis spring in Alaska too
Tho’ there’s snow here up the wazoo.
There’s mud in the streets
And it still will be weeks
Before the sun sneaks in one peek-a-boo.

There’s a hint of sweet spring in the air
As I open the trunk for the spare.
I get soaked by spring showers
(While great for the flowers)
They’re not doing much for my hair.
