Imagined Slights (Two Haiku)
Those imagined slights:
Often more insidious
Than the real ones.
An imagined slight,
Paranoiac reaction—
His girlfriend no more.
(Written in response to 3 Word Wednesday’s Prompt — “Girlfriend, Imagined, Slight.” I prefer the first one, even though it’s missing one of the three words.)

so true to life… unfortunate,, and hopefully something that is learned from with out repetition….

So very, very true.
The imagined slights are imagined for a reason. Generally fourth through eighth grades. It would be good if adults remembered they’re no longer twelve
