Chocolate Limerick

Dear candy shop, leave out the filling.
Those rich, creamy innards ain’t thrilling.
I like choc’late that’s pure.
Milk or dark? Both allure.
Must I choose? Okay, dark gets top billing.

Fun limerick, but wrong choice…at least for me …prefer milk. The wife favors dark also…a woman thing? Maybe we’ll find out here. Vb

I like my chocolate like I like my coffee–plain and dark–though the luxury of milk now and again is not a bad thing!
I’m a chocoholic. Can’t get enough, even though now it gives me hot flashes. My favorite? Mochaccino, whipped cream, with chocolate shavings on top.
I think I might need a cup of cocoa before turning in, ha ha ha. Loved this, Mad! Amy

Chocolate is the one thing I adore
but the calories are something to abhor
the taste is really very sweet
it’s the perfect after dinner treat
which is why I always as for more

I love chocolate, but must ration myself to occasionally; but sometimes eat a half-pound slap at a sitting, which disgusts my wife since she can keep one going for a week.
