Treats that danger as grist for his wit:
Mocks a serious threat
With a joke that’s all wet—
A GOP cheer-swelling hit.

according to them global warming is a fable any way…i guess he figures if they do he could build a raft out of the lower class bodies…smiles.
I enjoyed your limerick, Madeline, and greatly appreciate your talent in writing them. I personally try to steer clear of the political arena in the blogosphere. (Which doesn’t mean I don’t have political opinions – I certainly do.) But I appreciate the share!
With the same foresight and integrity that brought us the 2008 financial melt-down, the GOP will deal with global warming.
