Take <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alan.com\/2009\/05\/02\/rove-right-will-oppose-sotomayor-because-shes-liberal\/\">Karl  Rove<\/a>, for instance, on Obama&#8217;s potential nominees to replace Justice David Souter: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Karl Rove rails against the possible nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor because \u201cher opinions\u2026have been very liberal.\u201d  But when Sandra Day O\u2019Connor retired, Rove said the opposition has a responsibility to approve judges who are qualified, even if they disagree with their views.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And that brings me to my latest double limerick:<\/p>\n<p>Karl&#8217;s Roving Standards<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>Rove&#8217;s memory&#8217;s certainly short.<br \/>\nBack when dealing with names for the Court,<br \/>\nHe said Dems must not nix<br \/>\nAny Bush judgeship picks<br \/>\nBased on views that they failed to support.<\/p>\n<p>But now that the tables are turned,<br \/>\nHe says Dem nominees must be spurned<br \/>\nIf Republicans think<br \/>\nThat their politics stink.<br \/>\nConsistency?
