Here&#8217;s the latest in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.radioiowa.com\/2013\/03\/04\/bill-would-forbid-parents-from-getting-no-fault-divorce\/\">Iowa&#8217;s battle against teenage promiscuity<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Seven Republicans in the Iowa House are pushing a bill to prohibit parents of minor children from getting a \u201cno fault\u201d divorce and the proposal could be debated in a House committee this week.<\/p>\n<p>A three-member subcommittee debated the bill today. Representative Tedd Gassman, a Republican from Scarville, said he\u2019s concerned about the negative impact divorce has on children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn my opinion, it\u2019s time to look out for the children instead of constantly worrying about the adults,\u201d Gassman said.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Representative Gassman said the issue is \u201cnear and dear\u201d to his heart because his daughter and son-in-law recently divorced, putting his granddaughter at risk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a 16-year-old girl in this whole mix now. Guess what?
