Romney debate.  And he did it again just yesterday, telling The Des Moines Register\u2019s editorial board that <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.desmoinesregister.com\/dmr\/index.php\/2012\/10\/09\/romney-says-abortion-legislation-isnt-part-of-his-agenda\/\">&#8220;no abortion legislation is part of his agenda.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of course, Romney&#8217;s staff <a href=\"http:\/\/politicalwire.com\/archives\/2012\/10\/10\/romney_changes_abortion_stance_again.html\">comforted his rightwing base<\/a> the next day: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Spokeswoman Andrea Saul later walked back the comment telling the National Review that Romney &#8220;would of course support legislation aimed at providing greater protections for life.&#8221;  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rather clever (and sneaky) isn&#8217;t it?
