When I wasn&#8217;t looking, President Obama <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/plum-line\/post\/pass-the-smelling-salts-obama-attacked-scotus\/2012\/04\/03\/gIQA7VpAtS_blog.html\">apparently mugged the U.S. Supreme Court<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To the fainting couch! Obama attacked the Supreme Court and threatened it with a backlash, should it strike down his tyrannical scheme to impose a government takeover of health care on the nation!<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what many conservative writers and even some centrist ones are arguing. They are saying that Obama\u2019s words about the Court yesterday were \u201cunsettling\u201d and a \u201cwitch-hunt,\u201d and they\u2019re likening them to F.D.R.\u2019s efforts to pack the Court in retaliation for decisions striking down New Deal initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Please. If what Obama said yesterday is an \u201cattack,\u201d it\u2019s pretty timid stuff indeed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>SCOTUS-Scolding Scandal? (Limerick)<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>The very same wingnuts who blast<br \/>\nSo-called &#8220;activist courts&#8221; are aghast<br \/>\nAnd are faulting Obama<br \/>\nWith petulant drama:<br \/>\n&#8220;He&#8217;s attacking the Court,&#8221; they lambaste.<\/p>\n<p>Seems those wingnut Supremes need a hug,<br \/>\nCuz Obama&#8217;s a meanie and &#8220;thug.&#8221;<br \/>\nHis complaint, although mild,<br \/>\nIs driving them wild.<br \/>\nThose guys are sure easy to bug.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow!
