The debt ceiling deal Obama negotiated with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/08\/01\/opinion\/to-escape-chaos-a-terrible-debt-deal.html\">Republican hostage takers is well beyond terrible.<\/a>  And the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/robert-reich\/debt-deal-republicans-_b_914737.html\">ransom<\/a> Obama paid to the GOP is a presidential error beyond comprehension &#8212; one that will make today&#8217;s bad economy look like fun and games. <\/p>\n<p>What will it do to the poor, the sick, the elderly, the middle class, and the unemployed?  I&#8217;m way too depressed to discuss it.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations, Republicans!
