We also have the horrified Republican Senator Orrin Hatch, who&#8217;s hatched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2010\/06\/02\/rachel-maddow-slams-orrin_n_598236.html\">the upright-sounding Stolen Valor Act.<\/a> Just one problem: According to Hatch, it would criminalize Blumenthal&#8217;s behavior but (surprise, surprise) <strong>not<\/strong> Kirk&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Hatching Hypocrisy (Limerick)<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>When a pol says he fought for our land<br \/>\nAnd exaggerates, bolst&#8217;ring his brand,<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s a crime, says Sen Hatch.<br \/>\nBut of course there&#8217;s a catch:<br \/>\nOnly Dems need obey this command.<\/p>\n<p><b>Update:<\/b> One of my few Republican Facebook friends, Rob Hood, posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=540784314&#038;v=wall&#038;story_fbid=127078813988008&#038;ref=mf \">limerick response in Facebook<\/a> asserting that I engage in anti-GOP gloating.
