Reality show participants with an endangered child on an AWOL helium balloon? Yeah &#8230; right.   Then again, I don&#8217;t spend my time watching kids being rescued from wells either.<\/p>\n<p>In any event,  I&#8217;m not surprised that <em>Wife Swap<\/em> participants (and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/news\/national\/balloon_dad_has_criminal_past_t2cYbZlbGO1n5AUOqL4s4L \">reality TV series pitchers<\/a>) Richard and Mayumi Heene may be arrested for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/10\/20\/us\/20balloon.html\">&#8220;concocting a publicity stunt<\/a> by pretending that their young son [Falcon] had climbed aboard a homemade helium balloon and was hurtling through the skies above Fort Collins, Colo.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Heenes&#8217; lawyer David Lane <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/national\/2009\/10\/19\/2009-10-19_balloon_hoaxers_lawyer_richard_heene_.html\">expects the Larimer County Sheriff&#8217;s Office to file charges this week,<\/a> and Denver man Robert Thomas says Richard Heene gave him advance word of a media stunt.<\/p>\n<p>And that brings me to my latest limerick:<\/p>\n<p>Heinous Heenes?<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>Two publicity mongers named Heene<br \/>\nAre accused of a hoax quite obscene:<br \/>\nClaimed their wayward balloon<br \/>\nHeld their child. Opportune<br \/>\nFor a shot at &#8220;reality&#8221; green.<\/p>\n<p><b>Update:<\/b> I&#8217;ve heard the Heenes&#8217; name pronounced three different ways, two of which screw up my rhyme scheme.
