Our government once was divided,
\nA condition Republicans chided.
\nThey would gripe and they’d grouse:
\n“Ruling Senate and House
\nAin’t enough. Give us power three-sided.”<\/p>\n
Then it happened — their guy beat our dame!
\nNow with White House control they’re aflame
\nTo alter our laws
\nBy inserting new flaws
\nRight away — helping rich folks, their aim.<\/p>\n
They began with “repeal and replace,”
\nAn action they vowed they would ace;
\nFirst they’d get full control,
\nThen they’d easily roll
\nAll the Dems — this they promised their base.<\/p>\n
But the bill that was key to their game
\nHas been pulled to the GOP’s shame.
\nWho’s at fault? No, not Trump,
\nNor Paul Ryan. The Grump
