Please don’t tell me that Boehner’s atoned
\nFor his sins and for all he’s condoned\u2014
\nThat his leaving his job
\nIs a sacrifice (Sob!)
\nFor the good of our land. Are you stoned?<\/p>\n
Because all Boehner’s done is postpone
\nThe government shut-down he’s sown,
\nAnd emboldened the loons
\nWho are anarchist goons\u2014
\nAnti-government nuts to the bone.<\/p>\n
So kindly don’t ask me to weep
\nFor a man who will soon surely reap
\nLots of wealth from connections
\n(While dodging elections!)
