So I composed these song parody lyrics to the tune of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3ZPA8fwp7PE\">Maria<\/a>.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Now Scalia\/Maria does sound obvious.  So I&#8217;m surely not the first to use &#8220;Maria&#8221; to parody Scalia.  But I don&#8217;t want to do a Google search, lest I be inadvertently influenced by someone else&#8217;s lyrics. <\/p>\n<p>And with that disclaimer out of the way, here&#8217;s my parody:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nScalia,<br \/>\nThe jiggery-pok&#8217;ry Scalia,<br \/>\nTreats justice like a game,<br \/>\nThe worst judge I can name, you see.<\/p>\n<p>Scalia,<br \/>\nThe wingnutty jurist, Scalia,<br \/>\nDemands the final word<br \/>\nWith phrases so absurd, to me.<\/p>\n<p>Scalia,<br \/>\nWhen he loses a case, he&#8217;s sulking,<br \/>\nAnd his presence is always so hulking.<\/p>\n<p>Scalia,<br \/>\nThe nastiest Justice, Scalia.<\/p>\n<p>Scalia, Scalia, Scalia, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Scalia,<br \/>\nPitches disses, instead of reason,<br \/>\nDisagreements with him &#8212; treats like treason.<\/p>\n<p>Scalia,<br \/>\nThat sore-losing, pompous Scalia.<\/p>\n<p>The most odious person on that Court:<\/p>\n<p>Scalia!\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Though I already wrote an Antonin Scalia limerick today, I&#8217;m itching for more.
