my daughter’s name is madelyn… named after my mother whose name was madeline… but because they always pronounced her name wrong she changed the spelling to madelyn… so then my daughter, madelyn’s friends call her madlion… because she is always mad about something! and yes, i am happy to have come across this MadKane “Offbeat” On The Politico Beat… as i can dig a sense of humor even with the most tragic of circumstances …. another artist keep on keepin on!

They called these people “offbeat”?
I really think it’s not neat
To describe these politicos
as less than real weirdos
And they all need a kick in the seat.

Not “extremists”; the correct term is “reactionaries”, although I realize that would not scan well.
