We’ve developed a new form of taxing the rich over here in Britain that they’re all to willing to sign up for - we sell them peerages. It’s the ultimate accessory and amazing what people will do to get three or four letters before their name.
I suggest Obama elects a king, or picks up one of the redundant ones kicking around Europe, who are great at decoration and sadly not trained for much else. Then you can offer American peerages out on the open market. Hey presto, the only people buying are… you guessed it. Well said Mad! Ya gotta say one thing about it, government is certainly becoming transparent now. ;) I hope all this ‘transparency’ and open errors aren’t covering up something more sinister. The devil you know and the devil you don’t know comes to mind. I’m a cynic I guess.

Ah, remember the good old days when they at least bothered to hire accountants and lawyers to avoid paying taxes pushing every loophole to the limit - now they don’t even bother.

I doubt that Howard Dean would either get selected by Obama or would particularly care to be - after all, he’s for single payer actually universal health care not the disaster that Obama wants to put forth.

I hope Obama can keep these violations to a minimum. I was prepared for some compromise on the lofty campaign promises. Let’s see what happens.
