Certainly an appropriate response, Mad, if Rev. Wright is as the press depicts him. But Bryan of Why Now? says (note: site sometimes has problems loading; try more than once if necessary) that if Obama fails to become president, it is Wright, not Obama, who will be well-known in history, because of Wright's many legitimate accomplishments, not because of the sound bites used to make him seem extreme. Did you know Wright holds about seven honorary PhDs, some from fairly big-name universities and seminaries?

For the record, as you know, Mad, I voted for and caucused for Hillary. (G-d, Texas has a strange system!) But as you also know, I am committed to vote for the Democratic nominee in November, whoever s/he may be. Bryan, OTOH, dropped his Democratic Party registration when Howard Dean decided Florida's primary vote would not count... and I don't blame him; I'd have done the same. The Democratic Party should at least be, um, democratic.
