I&#8217;m very pleased to announce the winning Limerick of the Week and the Honorable Mentions:<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to <a href=\"http:\/\/bniedt.blogspot.com\/\">BRUCE NIEDT<\/a> who wins Limerick of the Week for this clever verse:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A fellow who just let it slip &#8211;<br \/>\n\u201cI\u2019m the captain on this ocean trip!\u201d \u2013<br \/>\nCaught the ear of a minx,<br \/>\nSo that if the boat sinks,<br \/>\nYou might say she\u2019ll go down with the ship!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And congratulations to these Honorable Mention winners (in random order) Jane Shelton Hoffman, Robert Schechter, and <a href=\"http:\/\/scribbleandedit.blogspot.com\/\">Madeleine Sara Maddocks<\/a>.
