And that means I write a limerick, and you write your own, using the same first line. Then you post your limerick here and, if you\u2019re a Facebook user, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/madkane\/posts\/215936038462896\">on Facebook too.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The best submission will be crowned Limerick Of The Week. (Here\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madkane.com\/humor_blog\/2011\/09\/04\/limerick-of-the-week-25\/\">last week\u2019s Limerick Of The Week Winner<\/a> plus the Honorable Mentions.)<\/p>\n<p>How will your poems be judged? By meter, rhyme, and cleverness. (If you\u2019re feeling a bit fuzzy about limerick writing rules, you can find some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madkane.com\/humor_blog\/limerick-and-haiku-seeds-and-prompts\/\">helpful resources listed here.<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll announce the Limerick of the Week Winner right before I post next week\u2019s Limerick-Off.
