I&#8217;m very pleased to announce the winning Limerick of the Week and the Honorable Mentions:<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to <a href=\"http:\/\/scribbleandedit.blogspot.com\/\">Madeleine Sara Maddocks<\/a>  who wins Limerick of the Week for this very amusing verse:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A woman who always felt free<br \/>\nUsed to hang upside down from a tree.<br \/>\nIn the dead of the night<br \/>\nA young boy took a fright.<br \/>\nNow he\u2019s scared to go out for a pee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And congratulations to these Honorable Mention winners (in random order) Ira Bloom,  <a href=\"http:\/\/liv2write2day.wordpress.com\"> Victoria Ceretto-Slotto<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/phyllisophy.blogspot.com\/\">Phyllis Sterling Smith a\/k\/a Granny Smith<\/a>.
