I suggested the word &#8220;amuse,&#8221; which will be used next week, starting September 25th. Here&#8217;s a limerick and haiku I wrote for the occasion:<\/p>\n<p>Amusing Verse &#8230; I Hope<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>I try to amuse when I write,<br \/>\nIn my quest to pen verse that has bite.<br \/>\nBut sometimes my muse<br \/>\nLets me down.
