It’s time to announce the latest Limerick of the Week based on submissions (on this blog and on Facebook) in last week’s Limerick-Off<\/a>. I’m very pleased to announce the winning Limerick of the Week and four Honorable Mentions:<\/p>\n

A fellow went out on a date
\nAnd proudly showed off his best trait.
\nThe woman was awed
\nAnd loud did applaud,
\nBut now she complains that she’s late.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nWith a fellow who made her irate.
\nHe showed up at her door
\nLike a john for his whore
\nAnd proceeded to ask for her rate.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Steve Vitoff:<\/p>\n

A woman went out on a date.
\nBut her date she began to berate.
\nShe\u2019d freak when he\u2019d speak
\nAnd critique his physique.
\nRest assured, they did not conjugate.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

David Lefkovits a\/k\/a Dr. Goose:<\/p>\n

A woman went out on a date.
\nThat started and ended at eight:
\n“His chiseled physique
\nWould render me weak,
\nSo I’m leaving before it’s too late.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
