It’s time to announce the latest Limerick of the Week based on submissions (on this blog and on Facebook) in last week’s Limerick-Off. I’m very pleased to announce the winning Limerick of the Week and five Honorable Mentions (four single verse limericks and one multiverse limerick.)<\/p>\n

\nFor her fianc\u00e9 judge, planned a treat:
\nInto chambers she barged
\nPurring, “Guilty, as charged!”
\nDoffed her raincoat, ensemble complete.<\/p>\n
\nGrinned and stretched: “Well, we\u2019d better be quick!”
\nSilken strides, no words uttered:
\nQuite impressed, the judge muttered,
\n“Something tells me those charges won\u2019t stick.”<\/p>\n
\n“Whoops, Judge, I had thought you were dozing!”
\nThe couple froze, glaring;
\nHe leered, “Thanks for sharing
