For instance, the <a href=\"http:\/\/poetryblogroll.blogspot.com\/2011\/02\/thursday-think-tank-35-shadows.html\">shadows prompt<\/a> courtesy of <em>Poets United Thursday Think Tank<\/em> brought back a wistful early childhood memory of my late father Ernest Begun and Robert Louis Stevenson&#8217;s <em>A Child\u2019s Garden of Verses.<\/em>  More specifically, the two of us reciting my favorite childhood poem, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bartleby.com\/188\/119.html\">My Shadow.<\/a><\/em>  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m certain that the many hours we spent poring over that Stevenson volume had lots to do with my own versifying.
