And that means I write a limerick, and you write your own, using the same first line. Then you post your limerick here and, if you\u2019re a Facebook user, on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/madkane\/posts\/143493095710255\">Facebook too<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So I hope you\u2019ll join me in writing a limerick with this first line:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A man who was terribly vain&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Here&#8217;s mine:<\/p>\n<p>Vain Limerick<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>A man who was terribly vain<br \/>\nWas obsessed with his looks on the wane.<br \/>\nHe considered a nip<br \/>\nAnd a tuck, but did zip.<br \/>\nSaid &#8220;I haven&#8217;t got time for the pain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>(My apologies to Carly Simon.)<\/p>\n<p>Please feel free to write your own limerick using the same first line and post it in my comments.
