A pirate who died in Dakar
\nLost his booty at cards in a bar.
\nGiving up all that loot
\nMade his chest pains acute.
\nSadly, no one there knew CP arrrr.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations to LISI NORTMAN ARDISSONE, who wins the Special FARM-Themed Limerick Award for this funny limerick, which is also a SALUTE-rhyme limerick:<\/p>\n

Damn toxins get right to the root
\nAnd damage the veggies and fruit.
\nSo on Earth Day we tried
\nTo throw them aside,
\nAnd a worm gave a grateful salute.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lisi Nortman Ardissone:<\/p>\n

The stampede of the cows caused him harm.
\nThen the pigs went and chewed off his arm.
\nFrom this horror he dropped,
\nTill his breathing had stopped.
\n(The old codger had bought the whole farm.)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

David Friedman:<\/p>\n

A horny cheese-farmer named Jay
\nWould shtup his poor cows every day.
\nThe cows would start chewing
\nWhen he started spewing,
\nBut it never did get in his whey.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
