After all, Chanukah may be really, really long, but it just doesn&#8217;t have that Christmas panache. Ask <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colbertnation.com\/the-colbert-report-videos\/211033\/november-23-2008\/a-colbert-christmas--jon-stewart\">Jon Stewart,<\/a> if you don&#8217;t believe me.<\/p>\n<p>So I think we Jews need a Christmas limerick, and I&#8217;ve written one in my late mom&#8217;s honor:<\/p>\n<p>A Jewish Christmas Limerick<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re Jewish and feeling left out?<br \/>\nWe have holy days too we can tout.<br \/>\nSo enjoy and feel chipper.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve still got Yom Kippur.<br \/>\nOn second thought,  go ahead &#8212; pout.<\/p>\n<p><b>Update:<\/b> For those who pronounce Yom Kippur the other way, I&#8217;ve written an alternative B-rhyme for the 3rd and 4th lines.
