It’s time to announce the latest Limerick-Off winners based on submissions (on this blog and on Facebook) in the last Limerick-Off<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Congratulations to TIM JAMES, who wins the Limerick-Off Award for this funny limerick:<\/p>\n

Their exertions in bed bent the frame,
\nThen her charley horse threatened their game.
\nBut she shrugged the pain off
\nAnd they finished their boff.
\nShe was lame but she came just the same.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations to BRIAN ALLGAR, who wins the Special Exercise-Themed Limerick Award, as well as the Facebook Friends’ Choice Award, for this funny limerick:<\/p>\n

\nTake exercise? Nah, it\u2019s too risky;
\nEven sex is alarmingly frisky.
\nBut my right hand is fit
\nAs a fiddle, for it
\nIs the one that I raise to drink whisky.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My wife said, “Hey, let’s bowl a frame.”

What\u2019s the source of my lim\u2019ricks? Not drink;
\nI just run till I\u2019m gasping and pink.
\nWhen these verses I brew,

Dave Johnson:<\/p>\n

He was trying to work up a sweat
\nAnd impress the hot girl he’d just met.
\nIn spin class they spun;
\nBut when over and done,
