Last week I wrote a series of holiday office party haiku before and after my husband’s office Christmas party. Having survived the festivities, I figured I’d post what’s turned into a trilogy here. (Note: I added one in 2014, turning it into a quartet.)<\/p>\n

Holiday party
\nAt husband’s office tonight.
\nNote to self: Behave.<\/p>\n

Trying not to smile–
\nmust conserve facial muscles
\nfor office party.<\/p>\n

\nFriendly note from pals:
\n“Enjoy the office party.”
\nNever a good plan.<\/p>\n

Ev’ryone behaved
\nAt the office Christmas bash.
\nNow safe to have fun.<\/p>\n
