And that means I write a limerick, and you write your own, using the same rhyme word. Then you post your limerick(s) as a comment to this post and, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/madkane\/posts\/10153805992984315\">if you\u2019re a Facebook user, on Facebook too<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you\u2019ll join me in writing limericks using <strong>Release or Lease or Police<\/strong> at the end of Line 1 or Line 2 or Line 5. (Homonyms or homophones are fine.)<\/p>\n<p>The best submission will be crowned Limerick-Off Award Winner. (Here\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madkane.com\/humor_blog\/2016\/06\/11\/limerick-off-award-254\/\">last week\u2019s Limerick-Off Award Winner<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additionally,<\/strong> you may write <strong>themed limericks<\/strong> related to <strong>MONEY, using any rhyme scheme.<\/strong> And of course I\u2019ll present an extra award \u2014 one for the best <strong>money<\/strong>-related limerick.<\/p>\n<p>How will your poems be judged? By meter, rhyme, cleverness, and humor. (If you\u2019re feeling a bit fuzzy about limerick writing rules, here&#8217;s my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madkane.com\/humor_blog\/how-to-write-a-limerick\/\"><em>How To Write A Limerick<\/em><\/a> article.)<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll announce the winners on <strong>June 26,<\/strong> right before I post the next Limerick-Off. So that gives you <strong>two full weeks<\/strong> to submit your clever, polished verse. Your <strong>submission deadline is Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. <\/strong> (Eastern Time.)<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s my limerick:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To enter, please sign this release,<br \/>\nWhich affirms you&#8217;re not scared of wild geese<br \/>\nAnd don&#8217;t mind being bitten.<br \/>\nMore clauses are written.<br \/>\nTheir contents?
