So I wanted to make sure you knew about <a href=\"http:\/\/mcguirehimself.com\/?tag=unfinished-limerick-contest\">Patrick McGuire&#8217;s weekly Unfinished Limerick Contests.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Essentially, Patrick provides part of a limerick &#8212; anywhere from two to four lines &#8212; and asks you to finish it. And he even declares an actual winner.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re lots of fun, and I&#8217;m pleased to report that I just won his <a href=\"http:\/\/mcguirehimself.com\/?p=2938\">24th contest<\/a>. In that poetry challenge, Patrick provided the first two lines and I added the last three. Here&#8217;s the resulting limerick:<\/p>\n<p>I am not really much of a prude,<br \/>\nSo on other folks\u2019 joys won\u2019t intrude.<br \/>\nNo, I\u2019d never play god,<br \/>\nBut this one thing seems odd:<br \/>\nWhy do folks with bad bods sunbathe nude?<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong> I&#8217;m guessing these people have an extra good time on <a href=\"http:\/\/holidayinsights.com\/moreholidays\/July\/nationalnudeday.htm\">National Nude Day<\/a>, celebrated each year on July 14th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;re reading this, you probably enjoy limerick challenges.
