I sure hope many of you use (or at least are familiar with) Twitter.\u00a0 Because Twitter<\/em> is today’s limerick and haiku topic.\u00a0 First, my limerick:<\/p>\n

Twitter Jitters
\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n

I really don’t mean to sound bitter,
\nBut it’s hard to fit humor on Twitter.
\nPosting\u00a0 tweets so damn short
\nIs a challenging sport,
\nCuz there’s no time for laughs — just a titter.<\/p>\n

And now my Twitter haiku (senryu):<\/p>\n

My tweets on Twitter:
\nMemories, links, mutterings.
\nFragments of a life.<\/p>\n

As you might have guessed, I use Twitter.\u00a0 If you’d like to, you can follow my Twitter Tweets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
