Once again, it\u2019s Limerick-Off time. I hope you\u2019ll join me in writing a limerick with this first line: <\/p>\n

A woman was planning a trip\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here\u2019s mine. (It\u2019s a two-verse limerick, but a standard one-verse limerick is fine, of course.)<\/p>\n

A woman was planning a trip,
\nWhen her husband said, “Please, get a grip.
\nOur bank account’s low.
\nWe have one-way cash flow.”
\nBut his wife said, “Enough with your lip!”<\/p>\n

“You’ve been wasting our cash at the track
\nAnd on poker and possibly crack.
\nI’m sick of this life
\nAnd of being your wife.
\nSo goodbye, it is you who should pack.”<\/p>\n
