Sorry for the delay, but though my cast is finally off, I’m still having wrist problems.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s limerick, haiku, and senryu theme is\u00a0vacations.\u00a0<\/em>First, my limerick, which was inspired by my husband Mark:<\/p>\n

Vacation Verse
\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n

My husband is swimming outdoors.
\nI expect he’ll be back when it pours,
\nWhich it threatens to do
\nEv’ry day, so he’s blue.
\nYes, vacations are rain guarantors.<\/p>\n

And now my haiku (senryu):<\/p>\n

I’m on vacation,
\nYet here I am writing verse.
\nGive it a rest, brain.<\/p>\n

Now, of course, it\u2019s your<\/strong> turn.
