Today\u2019s limerick, haiku, and senryu theme is\u00a0blogging.\u00a0<\/em>First, my limerick, which was inspired by The Ominous Comma’s<\/a> request for\u00a0humorous advice for new bloggers:<\/p>\n

Dear Newbie
\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n

Dear Newbie, I feel for your plight —
\nYou are anxious for links to your site.
\nBut please do not send
\nLink requests, when you’ve penned
\nA mere pittance of blog posts, all right?<\/p>\n

And now my haiku (senryu):<\/p>\n

My blog bullies me,
\nDemanding ideas, words, wit.
\nThis will have to do.<\/p>\n

Now, of course, it\u2019s your<\/strong> turn. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to write some verse about\u00a0blogging.<\/em> When you\u2019ve posted your poem(s), please return\u00a0here and add a direct link to your themed poetry, using Mr. Linky.\u00a0There\u2019s no rush, by the way, because you have\u00a0until July 18th\u00a0to post it.<\/p>\n
