I have absolutely no idea.\u00a0\u00a0 But here&#8217;s the product of a <a href=\"http:\/\/morgenfiles.blogspot.com\/2008\/04\/another-manic-monday-bud.html\"><em>bud<\/em> prompt,<\/a> a <a href=\"http:\/\/sundayscribblings.blogspot.com\/2008\/04\/106-fearless.html\"><em>fearless<\/em> prompt<\/a> and a <a href=\"http:\/\/writersisland.wordpress.com\/\"><em>flight<\/em> prompt.<\/a> For five points, can you name the person I&#8217;m describing in this limerick?<\/p>\n<p>Ode To A Despicable Person<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>Hey bud, don&#8217;t pretend to be fearless.<br \/>\nIn your cowardice, you&#8217;re nearly peerless.<br \/>\nYou took flight from your duty.<br \/>\nYour record&#8217;s no beauty.<br \/>\nYou ought to be jailed and careerless.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: <\/strong>Here&#8217;s a haiku using the same three prompts, with my thanks\u00a0to hubby Mark for the first two lines:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This Bud is on me,&#8221;<br \/>\nSaid the fearless flight steward,<br \/>\nHanding her a rose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you can probably tell, I was in a very\u00a0bad mood when I wrote this limerick.
