Today\u2019s limerick and haiku theme is\u00a0relatives.\u00a0(<\/em>Thanks\u00a0to Read Write Poem’s aunt prompt,<\/a> which inspired this broader theme including any family member<\/em>.)\u00a0First, my limerick:<\/p>\n

Crazy Aunts
\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane\u00a0<\/p>\n

Crazy aunt in your fam’ly? Let’s see:
\nDoes she scoff at conventions with\u00a0glee?
\nFail at acting her age?
\nGive advice strangely sage?
\nIn my fam’ly, the crazy aunt’s me.<\/p>\n

And now my haiku:<\/p>\n

He made an offer
\nThat I just could not refuse:
\nMarital bliss.<\/p>\n

Now, of course, it\u2019s your<\/strong> turn.
