It’s time to announce the latest Limerick of the Week based on submissions (on this blog and on Facebook) in last week’s Limerick-Off<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Sarah Palin is often the butt
\nOf deriders who think she\u2019s a nut.
\nThough she has, it is true,
\nA one-figure IQ,
\nHer mouth is quite cute \u2013 when it\u2019s shut.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fred Bortz:<\/p>\n

A billy goat shows he can butt,
\nWhile a peacock will swagger and strut,
\nBut a macho man here
\nWill just guzzle his beer
\nAnd display his protuberant gut.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kathy El-Assal: <\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re is just one word for butt.
\nOf synonyms there are a glut:
\nAss, tochus and heinie
\n(Bodacious to tiny)
\nBe cheeky, don’t fall in a rut!\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Byron Ives:<\/p>\n

Life is sometimes a kick in the butt,
\nAnd for most, it\u2019s just not that clear cut.
\nOh, sure, you can prove
\nYou\u2019re in a great groove,

A guy had a pain in the butt
\nWhen, surprised in the midst of a rut
\nBy the gal\u2019s jealous man,
\nHe got shot in the can,
