So today\u2019s limerick and haiku theme is\u00a0<em>taxes and tax returns<\/em>\u00a0or, if you prefer,\u00a0<em>forms that drive you nuts.<\/em> First, my limerick:<\/p>\n<p>Taxing Verse<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>My records are scattered.\u00a0 Oh dear!<br \/>\nAnd tax filing day&#8217;s almost here.<br \/>\nMy receipts are all over &#8212;<br \/>\nSome eaten by Rover.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m destined for prison, I fear.<\/p>\n<p>And now my haiku:<\/p>\n<p>Whether you owe cash<br \/>\nOr are due a tax refund<br \/>\nFiling is taxing.<\/p>\n<p>Now, of course, it\u2019s <strong>your<\/strong> turn.
