Once again, it’s Limerick-Off time. I hope you\u2019ll join me in writing a limerick with this first line: <\/p>\n

There’s a fellow who loves his caffeine…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here\u2019s mine. (It\u2019s a three-verse limerick, but a standard one-verse limerick is fine, of course.)<\/p>\n

Caffeinated Limerick

There’s a fellow who loves his caffeine.
\nHe’s addicted, alas, to the bean.
\nNot to coffee or tea—
\nCappuccino, you see,
\nIs his weakness, at prices obscene.<\/p>\n

As his drinks climb past five bucks a pop,
\nHe keeps trying and failing to stop.
\nHe decided last week
\nIt was high time to seek
\nA solution — went online to shop.<\/p>\n

As he browsed. he found makers galore
\nAt an Internet kitchenware store.
\nSo he bought one — now brews
\nHis own drinks — he can’t lose,
\nAlthough now he is credit card poor.<\/p>\n
