(It\u2019s a three-verse limerick, but a standard one-verse limerick is fine, of course.)<\/p>\n<p>Weepy Limerick<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>A woman who readily cried<br \/>\nNever learned to take movies in stride.<br \/>\nShe would feel oh so low<br \/>\nAnd her tear drops would flow<br \/>\nWhen a character sickened or died.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;d weep for the good guys and bad&#8212;<br \/>\nDid not matter &#8212; they both made her sad.<br \/>\nHow her husband freaked out<br \/>\nWhen she sobbed for a lout<br \/>\nLike a killer or mean, deadbeat dad.<\/p>\n<p>He told her, &#8220;You&#8217;re acting insane.<br \/>\nIs there something amiss with your brain?<br \/>\nPlease don&#8217;t cry for a villain<br \/>\nWho merits his killin&#8217;.<br \/>\nPut clamps on your waterworks main.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Please feel free to write your own limerick using the same first line and post it in my comments.
