First, my limerick:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I admit that I&#8217;m bad with a rake,<br \/>\nAnd disposing of leaves makes me quake.<br \/>\nSo that pile\u2014I ignored it,<br \/>\nBut then was rewarded<br \/>\nWith saplings\u2014benign neglect&#8217;s wake.<\/p>\n<p>And here\u2019s my\u00a0haiku:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Milk, juice, chicken breasts<br \/>\nPlunged into backyard snow drifts:<br \/>\nMy fridge on the fritz.<\/p>\n<p>Now, of course, it\u2019s <strong>your<\/strong> turn. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to write a limerick or haiku (or both) about <em>yards<\/em> and\/or <em>gardens<\/em>.
