Since I’m a devout agnostic, my response to Writer’s Digest’s latest poetry prompt essentially wrote itself. Here’s the prompt:<\/p>\n

For this week\u2019s prompt, take the phrase \u201cHoly (blank),\u201d replace the blank with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write your poem.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And here’s my limerick:<\/p>\n

Holy Proselytizing (Limerick)
\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n

Holy proselytizing’s annoying,
\nWhatever technique you’re employing.
\nI have one strong belief:
\nWay too much of our grief
