A chicken quite frequently stews
\nAbout stews that to her are bad news:
\n“There went sister and mother.
\nI WON’T be another!
\nIf I’m called to be served, I’ll refuse!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations to Craig Dykstra, who wins this week’s Facebook Friends’ Choice Award for this limerick which received the most Facebook “likes.”<\/p>\n

An actor I know often stews
\nThat his videos don\u2019t get more views.
\nThen he did a drunk dance,
\nBut forgot to wear pants–
\nNow he\u2019s featured on CNN News.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And congratulations to these Honorable Mention winners (in random order) Fred Bortz<\/a>, Kevin Ahern<\/a>, Craig Dykstra, Jane Shelton Hoffman, Ira Bloom, Colleen Murphy<\/a>, and Steve Whitred<\/a>. Here are their respective Honorable Mention limericks:<\/p>\n

A restaurant served only stews
\nWith many odd flavors to choose.

\nWent to Sicily partly to schmooze.
\nThis lazy ass bum

\nAn author they couldn\u2019t refuse.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Two French painters, but one often stews.
\nTo the other he offers his views:
\n“Oh Monsieur Lautrec
\nAll I paint is such dreck!

A gourmand who likes to eat stews
\nPosed the question, “What meat did you use?”
\nSince the menu director
\nWas Hannibal Lecter,
\nMissing persons list might give some clues.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ira Bloom: <\/p>\n

A fellow who comes when he stews,
\nMakes a point to date nothing but shrews.
\nAsked if he could abide
\nWith a nun he replied:
\n“I don’t mind, if she has a short fuse.”\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Colleen Murphy: <\/p>\n

I’ve a girlfriend who frequently stews,
\nSays her son’s in the terrible twos.
\nI, a witness, attest,
\nHe’s a toddler possessed,
\nAnd a reason I’ll birth control use!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Steve Whitred: <\/p>\n

A fellow who likes to make stews,
\nUsing chuck steak and horse meat and ewes,
