This week, it asks us to use the following three words in any sort of poem: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.threewordwednesday.com\/2012\/08\/3ww-cclxxxiv.html\">Crumble, Drawn and Uneasy<\/a>.   Well, I managed to squeeze them all into this limerick:<\/p>\n<p>A Game Limerick<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>A chess player, looking quite drawn,<br \/>\nWas caught in an uneasy yawn.<br \/>\n&#8220;My game skills have crumbled,&#8221;<br \/>\nThe man weakly mumbled.<br \/>\n&#8220;I feel like I&#8217;m naught but a pawn.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong> July 20th is <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/international-chess-day-celebrates-worldwide-phenomenon-201600344.html\">International Chess Day,<\/a>  and the 2nd Saturday of October is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uschess.org\/content\/view\/13210\/141\/\">National Chess Day.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my favorite weekly prompts is Three Word Wednesday.
