Here\u2019s my <em>love at first sight<\/em> limerick:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amor\u00e9 Ode<br \/>\nBy Madeleine Begun Kane<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Twas amor\u00e9<strong> <\/strong>(yes, love) at first sight<br \/>\nWhen I met my dear husband that night.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve been wed thirty years\u2014<br \/>\nSo much laughter, some tears.<br \/>\nMark, my husband, remains Mr. Right.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s\u00a0my haiku on the same theme:<\/p>\n<p>I laughed at the thought<br \/>\nOf love at first sight, but our<br \/>\nLove had the last laugh.<\/p>\n<p>Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to write a limerick or haiku (or both) about <em>love at first sight<\/em> or some other <em>love<\/em>-related topic.
