A man had a notable knack
\nFor catching fly balls in his crack.
\nThough poor with his hands,
\nHe made many fans
\nIn center field, facing the back.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations to Craig Dykstra who wins this week’s Facebook Friends’ Choice Award for this limerick which received the most Facebook “likes.”<\/p>\n

As your parents, we know of your knack
\nFor strange fashion and cut you some slack.
\nBut this has to stop.
\nYou\u2019ve gone over the top,
\nAnd your mom wants her underwear back.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And congratulations to these Honorable Mention winners (in random order) Cara Holman<\/a>, Jim Delaney, Johanna Richmond, Les a\/k\/a Colonialist<\/a>, Kathy El-Assal, and Linda Fuller. Here are their respective Honorable Mention limericks:<\/p>\n

\nAnd now she\u2019s pain-free

\nFor making his knuckle-joints crack,
\nTill he popped (for more thrills)
\nNitroglycerine pills.
\nYou can tell where he lived: there\u2019s a plaque.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Johanna Richmond: <\/p>\n

Said the man with a notable knack
\nFor keeping his marriage on track,
\n\u201cI keep things legato
\nWith one simple motto:
\nDivides can be licked in the sack.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Les a\/k\/a Colonialist:<\/p>\n

A gal had a notable knack
\nFor earning her cash on her back,
\nBut please do not panic –
\nShe was a mechanic,
\nAnd it was not done in the sack.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Koch brothers have quite a knack
\nFor taking America back
\nTo a previous time
\nWhen to vote was a crime
\nIf you were a woman or black.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Linda Fuller: <\/p>\n

A gal had a notable knack
\nFor drawing men\u2019s eyes to her rack.
\nBut when she desired
\nTo be less admired
\nShe just up and let \u2018em go slack.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
