It’s time to announce the latest Limerick of the Week based on submissions (on this blog and on Facebook) in last week’s Limerick-Off<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Congratulations to Nan Reiner a\/k\/a Kitty Ditty who wins Limerick of the Week for this funny verse:<\/p>\n

A woman was off on a quest
\nTo give her poor backbone a rest.
\nGot her 36-Es
\nSculpted into pert Cs
\nAnd said, \u201cGlad I got THAT off my chest.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Further congratulations are in order to Nan Reiner a\/k\/a Kitty Ditty who also wins this week’s Facebook Friends’ Choice Award for very same limerick which received the most Facebook “likes. (This is the first time the same person won both awards.)<\/p>\n

A fellow was off on a quest,
\nFor the best food in all Budapest.
\nHis wife said, \u201cEureka!
\n\u201cSuch tasty paprika!\u201d
\nHer husband said, \u201cShirley, you jest.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Phyllis Sterling Smith a\/k\/a Granny Smith: <\/p>\n

A woman was off on a quest
\nTo protect every thing she possessed.
\nShould she put it in stock?
\nIn a safe with a lock?
\nOr would under her mattress be best?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Versebender:<\/p>\n

A fellow was off on a quest
\nTo give his libido a test.
\nSo he took on a bunch
\nOf ladies who lunch,
\nBut all he wants now is some rest.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Scott Crowder:<\/p>\n

A woman was off on a quest,
\nTo put office rumors to rest.
\n\u201cI was showing the Boss,
\nThe right way to floss,
\nAnd that stuff on my lips was just Crest.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Craig Dykstra:<\/p>\n

A big-breasted gal had a quest:
\nTo, in lieu of a bra, wear a vest.
\nBut the cargo unloaded
\nAs buttons exploded,
\nSurprising her dinner date guest.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kathy El-Assal: <\/p>\n

A fellow was off on a quest
\nTo put climbing skills to the test.
\nHe mounted his bride
\nAnd went for a ride,
