A mother was trying to show
\nAll her kids what it takes to make dough.
\nWhen the bread was all baked
\nThe youngest one quaked,
\n\u201cOh where did my baby tooth go?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations to David McCormick a\/k\/a AdamantYves<\/a> who wins this week’s Facebook Friends’ Choice Award for this limerick which received the most Facebook “likes.”<\/p>\n

A woman was trying to show
\nThe podiatrist her little toe;
\n“Could I ask,” the nurse said,
\n“If you’d stand on your head?
\nHe once was a dentist, you know.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And congratulations to these Honorable Mention winners (in random order) Elaine Spall<\/a>, Robert Schechter, Johanna Richmond, Neal Pattison, Edmund Conti, and David Lefkovits a\/k\/a Dr. Goose<\/a>. Here are their respective Honorable Mention limericks:<\/p>\n

\nShe had sizeable assets, and so

A Buddhist was trying to show
\nHe could chill out and go with the flow;
\nHe could empty his brain
\nOf depression and pain;
\nBut he freaked when I stepped on his toe.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Johanna Richmond:<\/p>\n

To the fellow who\u2019s trying to show
\nHe\u2019s \u201cMensa,\u201d not any Joe Blow,
\nLet me give him a clue:

\nHer kid how to bat, catch and throw,
\nAdjusted his stance

\nHow to eat only one Cheerio.
\nAnd when he was done
